Our Mission
To support families of children with all types of cancers and blood diseases by building permanent charitable capital and providing services and educational opportunities that contribute to the health and vitality of the patients, siblings, and parents affiliated with the Gulf Coast Wings of Hope community. Gulf Coast Wings of Hope, Inc. was incorporated on December 22, 2004 as a non-profit organization. We are designed to assist the families of children with blood and cancer diseases as follows: |

Giving emotional support through group activities and family fun events designed to network families together that are dealing with similar challenges. |

Encouraging improved care for pediatric patients through our Annual Nurse Award program as well as extending education opportunities to caregivers when possible. |

Providing finanicial help in times of bereavement and traveling expenses due to long-distance treatment. Gulf Coast Wings of Hope, Inc. has been setup to better serve the Pensacola and surrounding areas in any way possible. |
It is our hope to increase our benefits to our families as funds are raised. We believe that cancer and blood disorders do not just affect the patient, but the whole family unit. Because of this belief, we include the patient, parents and siblilngs in our events so that all members of the family unit can meet others with similar challenges and hopefully find a support network. |
