  • National Hemophilia Foundation - The mission of the National Hemophilia Foundation is education, research and advocacy on behalf of people with bleeding disorders. The NHF aims to cure blood disorders. Established in 1948, the NHF now has a national presence and many chapters throughout the country.

  • Hemophilia Foundation of Greater Florida - The Hemophilia Foundation of Greater Florida, a chapter of the National Hemophilia Foundation, has been helping people with bleeding disorders since 1996. We have helped the bleeding disorders community improve their quality of life by offering programs and services to support healthier and more independent lives.

  • Aplastic Anemia MDS International Foundation - Founded in 1983, the AA&MDSIF is a non-profit organization designed to serve as a resource for patient assistance, advocacy, and support; provide educational materials and medical information; and to fund medical research to find effective treatments and cure for Aplastic Anemia, Myelodysplastic Syndromes, and related bone marrow diseases such as PNH.

Fun For The Kids

  • When Ben Duskin was 5 years old he was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). He spent alot of time playing video games to take his mind off of the side effects of the chemoptherapy. He decided he wanted a video game that could help kids fight cancer. Ben, along with Eric Johnston, a Software Engineer, designed a video game to do just that. Ben's social worker contacted the Make A Wish Foundation to help find a sponsor to build the game. After 7 months of hard work they came up with a game that kids can download and play for free.   • Caring Bridge - A not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization offering free personalized Web pages to those receiving care since 1997. The Caring Bridge story began after an unbelievable reaction to a Web page created for a premature baby. CaringBridge has grown steadily since 1997 and by the begining of 2004 has hosted more than 16,000 personalized CaringBridge pages, with more than 65 million visits, and more than two million guestbook entries. CaringBridge was developed using a unique grassroots approach. This service has developed ties with individuals, the medical community and corporate organizations through word of mouth. Those who visit a CaringBridge page are undeniably impacted.
